Clovis Band Competition

Last Saturday, October 26th, there was a band competition at Clovis High School. First, we had our morning rehearsals from 9:30 am to 12 pm at our school, getting run-throughs of the show. After that, we were able to go home and rest. We came back to our school at 2 pm to go on the bus, to be on our way to Clovis High. The bus trip was fun as we all enjoyed sitting by our friends and blasting music. We arrived. We ate lunch and got into our uniforms to start warming up for our performance. We got some run-throughs with the whole ensemble, and we were ready. It was time to perform, as the Marching Miners started to walk to the field. After our performance, everyone had a smile on their face. We were proud of our performance because we were together and it went very well. Overall, we got 4th place against all the other schools in our division. Good job Miners! Let’s kill it at Kingsburg!
