Jesus Is King is Kanye Wets’s 12th studio album. The album was released on September 27, 2019. In this album, there are 11 songs and is overall 27 minutes long. Kanye himself states that this is a gospel album meant to express his faith in Christianity. His first album, The College Dropout, contains 21 songs and is 1 hour and 16 minutes. Some hits in this album are: All Falls Down (feat. Syleena Johnson), Jesus Walks, and Through the Wire. He went on to make a collaborative album with famous artist Jay-Z called Watch The Throne. In 2018, West was receiving major backlash from the media for supporting President Trump and canceling many of his tours due to mental illnesses.  Before pursuing his career in rapping, Kanye had a dream to become the greatest producer of his generation. After succeeding, he decided he wanted to experience rapping. Most people did not believe that he could maintain his career, nevertheless, he achieved his goals and proved his critics wrong. When he made it big in both producing and rapping, he wanted to create his own brand Yeezy. This shoe brand climbed the charts and became the most searched brand on Google and other resale apps. A few months later, he married Kim Kardashian and has four kids. He has had many negative experiences with the media and numerous controversies. Despite all this, Kanye West leads a successful life and is happy in his family and community.
