Trick-or-Treating

The season of the year has finally arrived, and children all across the country dressed in their best spooky and spirited costumes could not be happier! Tonight the spooky Halloween fun begins and the best part, trick-or-treating, is what’s making children across the country the most ecstatic. While the night may consist of dressing up in your own unique costumes, ranging from princesses to zombies, superheroes to villains, and dogs to police, the night has the potential of having its dangers as well. Trick-or- treaters, especially little kids, should be paid close attention to as the night is notorious for little ones getting lost or even kidnapped. It is also highly advised that all parents pull out any suspicious candy or homemade treats from their children’s trick-or-treat bags, to stray away from harmful substances people have placed in the sweets. Unfortunately, Halloween is a night where sick-minded people have the potential of drugging or hiding things such as razors, into baked goods, so it is very important to seek out any suspicious candies before they are consumed. For the most part, these findings are very rare but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
