With Seniors finishing up college applications and starting scholarship essays, a great way to stand out and to most definitely incorporate into these applications is to add acts of volunteer service! These volunteer services can be anything from volunteering at a school carnival, selling grams on campus, or even just participating in club events. Looking for a club that can offer all of these volunteer activities and more? Join CSF (The California Scholarship Federation)!! The sole purpose of this club is bettering both schools and communities through various volunteer activities that anyone can participate in! As a CSF officer, I take part in all of the monthly meetings that take place every first Tuesday of the month at lunch in the gym, as well as helping organize the various community service opportunities that we offer to EL D students! Not only do these acts of service stand out on college applications, resumes, and scholarship opportunities, but they also are a great way to become more active in your school and community. The events that CSF put together are all great ways to get to meet new faces as well as a way to help those most in need! I highly recommend you register to be a member of CSF in the upcoming semester and that you take an extra step in bettering your school and community! I promise you, you won’t regret it!
