Lebron James made history on Tuesday night against the Chicago Bulls, as he became the first Laker since Magic Johnson, to have three straight triple-doubles. James stands at 5th in all-time triple-doubles, behind some notable distributors, Jason Kidd and Magic Johnson. His stat lines for the three games: 39 points, 12 rebounds, and 16 assists vs the Bulls, 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists vs the Spurs, 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists vs the Mavericks in an OT win. Through 7 games James is averaging 26.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 11.1 assists. The Lakers are 6-1, their only loss coming from the town rival, the Clippers. Lebron took to twitter to make fun of his haters tweeting “#WashedKing”. Lebron is showing us that he can still play and have a huge impact on the floor in this new age of fast-paced offense. Lebron and Anthony Davis are proving to be one of, if not the best duo in the NBA.
