Spain Tracking Phones

Millions of people in Spain are being tracked by the government as part of the census. The INE agency claims that the tracking of phones is to get a better idea of where the Spanish people go during the day and night. 3 of the biggest mobile phone companies helped to track the people. The mobile phone companies are the ones with the data of all the people. The government wants the data to see what people are doing. For 8 days the government is going to track what Spaniards do on holidays and on workdays. Many people dislike this and feel their privacy is being breached. People suggested turning their phones off or not using them while the project was going on. The tracking raised many conflicts with the people but they will see the outcome of the project soon.
