On Wednesday, December 4th the El Diamante wrestling team went up against Tulare Union at Tulare Union. Going into this El D were the underdogs since the majority of the varsity team were freshmen and sophomores. The JV started off strong and beat Tulare Union’s JV team. El D started off bad and lost their first match, but then went on a two-win streak. El D got a few wins but in the end, they couldn’t defeat Tulare Union and were outmatched. Their next duel is on January 8th and it is against the Hanford Bulldogs at home, so make sure to go out and support them!
