Being Back From Break

Coming back from Thanksgiving felt like I haven’t been in school forever. Coming back I feel weird and all my classes recently feel like they are going by too fast. And every time I get home I eat, do my homework, and then by the time I am done, it’s already 10 O’clock. Thanksgiving break was so much fun, I got to sleep in, and spend time with my family. On Thursday I went to Lompoc with my parents and I got to see my family and cousins, and non-family members. That night was all outside eating food and listening to music, but it was so cold. We warmed ourselves up by drinking coffee and dancing. I and my cousin danced a couple of songs when my dad saw us dance and asked me “since when did you know how to dance?” and I told him “dad! I always went to dances plus some people can just naturally dance” we all laughed. Now the food there was so good traditional Mexican food, tamales, birria, pozole beans and more. We still have a bunch of leftovers and that was all we ate for 3 days straight. But once we had to leave we all got sad because we had to head back to our real lives and got back to our daily routines. But spending time with them was a good break from reality and now back to school, I go.
