The legend says that the first Arc Soldier to ever arrive woke up the day right after being exposed to the radiation which took even the most skilled Arc Soldiers years or more to do. It was said that ACS-1 had an ability to create an ice aura and use it as a defensive mechanism and an attacking mechanism which made it powerful as is. He wasn’t the only won cursed with strength though. As ACS-1 used his power for good the one who was called the Demon Soldier had other plans in mind. He believed that humans needed to be taken out and only the strong live. People who were capable of defending themselves while ACS-1 believed people needed to be protected by the strong. They both knew one or the other would try to stop each other from reaching their plan. The Demon Soldier, which was just an Arc Soldier who didn’t agree with the belief of the other Arc Soldiers and used their power for bad, had an ability that was extraordinary. His ability allowed him to pull pitch plants root from the ground which can also be used as an attacking and defending mechanism. The two were and still are considered the strongest of all. No one ever knew who was stronger than the two. Eventually, with different beliefs in mind, they finally clashed. The fight was legendary. Shards of ice flew while pitch black roots came from the ground. Both were evenly matched and badly injured but still fighting for what they believed in. The Demon Soldier fell to his knees and pleaded for forgiveness. ACS-1 fell for his trick and as soon as he dropped his guard a root came from the floor and pierced the Arc Soldier from his back going straight through the body. The root retracted back to the floor and the Arc Soldier fell to all fours as the Demon Soldier made his way back up on two feet. He approached the bleeding out Arc Soldier knowing he has won the battle.
At that moment, some say the power that was in ACS-1 doubled and became greater than ever before. No one could explain what the power boost was. It was later called “Upgrade Version”. An unknown ability to only ever happen once that doubles the user’s strength and speed. As the Demon Soldier looked at the first-ever Arc Soldier become even stronger than he was the Demon Soldier froze with shock. ACS-1, still on all fours, grabbed the left wrist of the Demon Soldier with his right hand and looked up at him.
“I forgive you,” ACS-1 said as his final words to the Demon Soldier. The floor around them turned to ice and expanded on the floor as big as a city turning everything it touched to ice except the two that were in the middle. A gigantic white flash went off where they were and spread all the way to where the ice had ended on the floor. When the blinding light had disappeared all there was left was an enormous mountain of ice as big as a city. The first Arc Soldier had frozen himself with the Demon Soldier in the mountain of ice that was created. Most say that was his last resort and he had no choice but to use it. I didn’t think that at all. I believe he went into battle knowing it wasn’t winnable. He knew that was his only option. He knew that the only way to stop the Demon Soldier was only gonna happen if he sacrificed himself also. The ice mountain is still there, where the battle had taken place with both of the strongest soldiers frozen in place. The story of the first Arc Soldier still is being talked about to this day. The legend of the first Arc Soldier still lives. The strongest Arc Soldier of all.
