Sunday morning football had quite the match-ups yesterday. My favorite being the SF 49ers Vs the NO Saints. The Saints gained a surprising lead in the first quarter scoring a touchdown within the first few minutes of the game. San Francisco caught back up and evened up the score. For a short time, the Saints had a two-point lead but the 49ers managed to catch up and lead by two points. The 4th quarter was a tough one for San Francisco and the Saints alike. The Saints fought hard but ultimately lost by two-points due to a field goal, thanks to George Kittle allowing San Francisco to enter field goal range. If was ultimately the Saints who actually gave San Francisco the chance to win. Their safety tried to bring down G. Kittle but found that he wasn’t going down easy. In a desperate attempt to bring down the 249 pound 49er right end, the Saints safety, Marcus Williams, held onto Kittle’s facemask resulting in a flag to be thrown onto the field. William’s gave the 49ers an extra 15 yards, putting them within field goal range. 49ers place kicker made the 30-yard field goal from the 14-yard line. The 49ers won the game by two points!
