On Monday a woman was assaulted in the parking lot of a Visalia Walmart. According to ABC30 Fresno, a white man wearing a black beanie went up to her asking for help with his car and then proceeded to pull her pants down and try to choke her. Police are still looking for him after he escaped the scene. It is important to note that this event occurred at 4 pm during the day. Other similar cases have been reported in Visalia. It would be smart to take someone with you when you go shopping and keep a mace or pepper spray with you wherever you go. Even during the day, people are being abducted everywhere. We live in a scary world, so being prepared is in your best interest, it might even save your life.
