Bond Touch bracelets are slowly becoming more and more popular, especially after this last Christmas. But for those who don’t know, Bond Touch bracelets are a pair of bracelets for both you and someone you love (perhaps your significant other, friend, or family member) to wear. The bracelet consists of a little “touch modules” attached to leather bands that you can wear on your wrist. A pair of them is about 98 dollars. You can get them with either the free regular black band, or for 8 extra bucks, you can get a different color band. With the original black band, they look like this:
To make the touch modules work, you must connect the bracelet to your bluetooth and download the Bond Touch app on the App Store or Google Play. From there, you set up your profile with a username, profile picture, and your phone number. You can also choose your bracelet light color. Once you and your partner have done that, you link the bracelets together by inserting each other’s phone numbers. Double tapping the module wakes it up, and from there you can send up to 10 touches at a time for almost as long as you want to hold them down. Those exact touches will be sent to your partner’s bracelet, lighting up in your color and lightly vibrating their wrist. When your partner does the same, your bracelet will light up in their color and you’ll feel the exact vibrations. It’s a lovely reminder that the person you love is thinking about you, and if you two are far from each other, you can still feel their touch.
Last Christmas, I got a pair for myself and my best friend. She lives in Hanford, which isn’t too far from here, but we cannot see each other every day at school or on every weekend, so feeling her touch makes me feel better. They work extraordinarily well, and although people would argue that 98 dollars is a lot of money for a single pair of these bracelets, I think the price is just fine. It’s a decently advanced technology that is meant to last a long, long time. The battery lasts a long time as well, and charging them doesn’t even take too long. I’m very happy that I got to spend my money on these bracelets for both me and my best friend; they make us both very happy. For us, distance doesn’t matter and it won’t ever tear us apart, but it’s definitely bound to make us miss each other; these bracelets personally help me overcome those feelings and remind me that although we’re a bit far, she still thinks about me and loves me the same as I do, and each day is a day closer to when I’ll see her again. I highly suggest buying a pair of these bracelets for you and someone you love, especially if there’s a good amount of distance between you guys. Those little reminders can truly make your day.
