Officials in Suzhou, China are facing backlash after publicly shaming its citizens for wearing pajamas around town. The government released seven pictures of people wearing their nightwear out of the house and included their name, ID, and other personal information. The country, which captured the photos on their CCTV system, claimed this was an example of “uncivilized behaviour”. The event has caused understandable anger online. Although officials have since apologized, they plan on continuing the activity with blurred out faces.
