Mock Trial

Mock Trial has their very important competition this week and next week! In case you are unfamiliar with how Mock Trial works, here’s a basic rundown. Students are given situations based on real cases and are tasked with trying to solve them. The main roles in Mock Trial are the witnesses, attorneys, bailiffs, and court clerks, just like a real-life courtroom. Each character works together to help bring something to the case! Mock Trial is for those afraid to act in front of others and those willing to see how a courtroom works. It sometimes can be very stressful due to intense memorization and seeing other teams’ intensity, but in the end, all of the hard work pays off! Tryouts depend on the number of kids that show (Maximum:40) and everyone is welcome!
