Tiny House Living

Tiny houses, a new craze that is breaking the mold of the classic American dream. The average American home is 1,600 square feet , while the average tiny home is merely 300-500 square feet. This movement has caused around 10,000 United States families to go tiny. So why would you go tiny? This new trend is causing people to realize what matters most to them. Often times it’s freedom, whether it’s financial freedom or freedom from one place. Tiny homes are often built on trailers , so you can relocate the home you love. This movement has also been driven by a recent interest in minimalism. Minimalism is the idea that living is more important than material items. Obviously when you live in a home (half the size of an average home), you can only have half of the possessions. Tiny house living forces you  pare down and get outdoors! Another upside to tiny house living is the cost. Tiny houses generally cost $10,000- $180,00, which is modest compared to the high prices of California homes. In a tiny house ,you can have the marble counter-top you wanted, the tiles you want, and all of that in a reasonable price. Tiny homes are also more sustainable and cause less distress on the environment. I plan on going tiny one day, and you should too.
