As the coronavirus is spreading into other parts of the world, airlines are deciding to cancel flights to mainland China. The government has slowed down on travel to help stop the spread of this virus. Between Jan. 23 and Jan. 27, 9% of flights have been canceled. Also, South Korean Airlines are beginning to take the same steps to help stop the virus. Now it also looks like China Southern Airlines Co. will face a big blowout since they control 30% of Wuhan’s seat capacity, the routes going to and from the capital of Hubei, which also counts for 3.6% of seats.
