McDonald’s is bringing a burger bun made with rice to Japan next month and news is sending the Japanese internet into a frenzy. The rice burger bun, or “Gohan” burger in Japanese. The rice burger arrives on February 5th. The burger buns are made from the homegrown rice and are glazed with a savory soy sauce. The burgers will come in three different varieties, rice teriyaki, rice bacon, lettuce, and fried chicken. This rice burger bun will be sold nationwide for a limited time. The rice burger bun is a part of a “Night Mac” menu. This menu will be available between 5 p.m. and closing.
