On January 28, three women were found dead in a Miami home. One of the women that were killed was Arlety Garcia Valdes, 40, and her son, Andrew Caballerio, was missing from the home. An Amber Alert was issued for Andrew Wednesday morning. Andrew Caballerio is only one-week-old and the police believed his father, Ernesto Caballerio, killed the women while kidnapping his son. Later on Wednesday, Ernesto’s body was found dead near Interstate 75, over 300 miles from the Miami home. The police believe it was a suicide and were able to map out the route Caballerio took. They encourage anyone along the route to report sightings of Ernesto. When the police found the body of Ernesto, there were no signs that he had the baby with him. Some witnesses reported a blonde woman in the van with Ernesto, so police hope the baby was handed off to her. The investigation now suggests the woman was merely a passerby who checked on the van and found the newborn boy. As of Thursday, January, 30, the one-week-old baby has still not been found.
