In honor of the week of Valentine’s Day, El D students took part in a Kindness Week full of dress-up days. Each day of the week was themed to dress up. The first day of our school week, Tuesday, was the “Kindness Love Peace” day where students came to school dressed in tie-dye and other “hippy” themed clothes. Wednesday was “Kindness Rocks” day, taking place for us to dress up as a celebrity. Thursday was “Team Kindness” day, the day for wearing jerseys and other sports gear to school. Finally, Friday was “Kindness Makes the Heart Grow” day in place to spread awareness for CHD (Congenital Heart Defect) and wear purple to show support. Thank you to all the Miners who participated.
