Bashar Barakah Jackson (rapper Pop Smoke) was shot and killed at 4:30 Wednesday morning, in his Hollywood home. Los Angeles Police say at least four people are connected to the murder. He was only 20-years-old and was enjoying the fame after the release of his second mixtape, which was released last week. Hailing from Brooklyn, he was on the rise to be the new King of New York. The up and coming rapper was mourned by many other celebrities on social media, including 50 Cent and Chance the Rapper. Jackson’s death follows the death of Kobe Bryant at the end of January and Jarad Anthony Higgins(rapper Juice Wrld) at the beginning of December. It seems as if there is some bad karma in the world and it’s taking away the best people.
