On Tuesday, February 25th, 2020, I had the pleasure of listening to El Diamante’s Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble perform three music pieces per group under the direction of Miss Kristen Pallas, our band director. They performed these songs at LJ Williams Theater in practice for their upcoming festival performance that’s occurring in the next couple of weeks. Both groups did beautifully, and the show ended at 7:48 pm, which was 12 minutes earlier than expected, and left me wanting more. As a color guard member, I went to support my friends and all of the band members that I’m used to performing alongside during fall. I have never once attended a performance as just another audience member before, and I am so glad that I did. It was a wonderful experience, and I encourage each and every one of you to attend at least one of their concerts in the near future. I wish our bands the best of luck at Festival, and at the rest of their performances to come. Go, Miners!
