On March 2, a tornado ripped through Tennessee. More than 10,000 households and businesses were left without power. At least 45 buildings collapsed in Nashville and multiple buildings are left damaged, mostly downtown. Apartments in Germantown were hit the worst and firefighters rushed to save people in the building. Streets have been closed due to fallen trees and other debris. The tornado has killed at least 22 people from 4 different counties and some people are still missing. With a death toll of 22 currently, this tornado is tied with the second deadliest tornado in Tennessee history. In 1952, 38 people were killed and 22 people were killed in 2008. Tennessee residents were meant to vote on Super Tuesday and officials are trying their best to ensure all residents are able to get to their polls. All Nashville polling locations are going to be open one hour later and only a few have been moved.
