Kid’s Day is supposed to be an opportunity for Valley Children’s Hospital to raise a great amount of money. Volunteers stand on street corners and sell specially printed newspapers for the hospital, but this March is turning out to be much different. Because of the notorious coronavirus, Kid’s Day has been canceled. Officials from the hospital have enacted this change in hopes of reducing the risk of contamination from volunteers reaching in and out of cars. In addition to the canceled Kid’s Day, there are also precautions that are being taken at the hospital itself. All in all, Valley Children’s Hospital is currently in quite a quandary.
