With the recent “fatal” outbreaks of the coronaviruses across the globe, citizens have been taking extreme measures to ensure their safety in case a sudden need to stay indoors for long periods of time occurs. The most extreme actions of the citizens are buying overly excessive amounts of sanitation wipes, sanitizers, Lysols, as well as toilet paper and canned foods. Because of these speculations in regards to the “possibly world-ending” sickness, fear has heightened in the minds of the public resulting in this massive decrease in household products found in stores. Stores such as Target, Walmart, and Costco, those being affected most by the fears in having a possible lockdown, have enforced critical measures to the public in regards to the number of products they buy. Take for instance the updates Target has posted on some shelves in their storefronts limiting customers to 6 packs per guest for some particularly low products such as toilet paper. Customers, as well as stores, such as the ones stated above being affected most, are in hopes that the fears related to the coronavirus come to an end in order to reduce the low stock of household items found in stores and is provided to customers
