Saturday evening, El Diamante hosted this year’s, Spring Fling. It was a great turnout. “Ticket sales were up by 25% and the attendance rate was better than last year’s Spring Fling” according to Mrs. McBride (our Activities Director and ASB Coordinator). The gym was decorated with wide walls of Hawaiian hibiscus flowers and colored spotlights to make the bright colors pop. The entrance of the school was great as our ASB made a huge tiki totem arch. As the schools entered the dance they were offered a free lei if they wanted one courtesy of ASB. The gym also had a huge volcano and waterfall all outlined with colored lights. The DJ was great and had the music to get everyone on the dance floor. There were also lollipops, fruit snacks, cookies, brownies, etc on the refreshments table for anyone who got the late-night munchies after a long round of dancing. Overall, we made a great profit, everything looked outstanding, and there was not one person not moving their body on the dance floor.
