There may be a silver lining in the Kid’s Day fiasco. Although the newspapers are not being physically sold on street corners due to the coronavirus, a digital version is being offered online. To raise funds, donors can text GEORGE to 20222 to donate $10 or go onto the Valley Children’s website to make a donation of any amount starting at $1. As it appears now, Kid’s Day will not be rescheduled at a later time to sell physical papers. Nevertheless, the Kid’s Day tradition is still alive in some form.
