French Bulldog Breeding Is Hard Work

French bulldogs are very hard to take care of as they are also very cute. These dogs are very rare to buy around our area as they’re also very expensive. Not only that, breeders are also very rare to come up in this area, hence the reason why some people are willing to breed French bulldogs more.

Donan Benavente and Rebecca Benavente are pretty well known French bulldog breeders around their area, Visalia. Their family had done English bulldog breeding 10 years ago until they stopped to breed French bulldogs instead.

With breeding there are some pros with this as you can get lots of money, but there are some cons to this. These dogs cost up to 5-10 thousand dollars and not many people would want to pay so much if they’re not the prettiest. Certain types of Frenchies play an important role in the breeding process as people love silver types, chocolates, or lilacs. There are so many other types, but those are top ones that people like.

With that being said, the process of breeding is a frightening thing, not only for the puppies, but the dog giving birth to them also. With French bulldogs, it’s scary because they can’t give birth like usual as that can kill them. Instead, they have to receive a c-section instead of a natural birth. It’s dangerous because this could hurt the mom and the babies and cost a lot more to the vet.

Not only that, you can get so many puppies and you have to have lots of responsibilities to be able to take care of them and not let them die on you. There are so many certain things you have to do before breeding  and if you were to mess up in the slightest, that can possibly kill the puppies.
