A Quarantine Birthday

My birthday is later in the year so I get many comments about how I’m so much younger than everyone else. I like to take pride in this, though. I love having a late birthday, especially one in the Fall.

When quarantine first began I felt for all the people who had to spend their birthday quarantined. They weren’t allowed to go out because everything was closed, and on top of that coronavirus was easily caught so gatherings weren’t such a good idea either. There weren’t any precautions set in place yet.

Everyone who heard I had a birthday later in the year envied the fact that I’d probably be able to spend mine out of this seclusion. Unfortunately, I won’t be. Although places have started to reopen and it’s become a tad bit safer, it is not safe to have any form of party or big gathering even with the precautions that have now been created. I do plan on making the most of it though.
