A man in Oregon by the name of Christopher Sargent forgets about a life changing lottery ticket that sat in his wallet for over a month. The ticket was bought on August 24th and was only remembered by Sargent when returning to his local gas station to buy more lottery tickets when finding the forgotten ticket in his wallet. He proceeded to hand the ticket to the clerk to scan and the clerk replied with “ It looks like you need to go to Salem”, only to go home and check his numbers to find that he had won 5.7 million dollars. The man and his wife were astonished at the fact that they didn’t find it sooner, but hey, better now then never.
