Jimin is the lead vocalist in the Korean boy band called BTS and today on October 13th is his birthday. He is now 25 years old and fans are going crazy over his birthday making the hashtag on twitter trend worldwide to say happy birthday to him. On October 10th BTS had a live online concert and when giving out a speech they were saying how this was a hard time for all of us but what made fans tear up was when Jimin said “Preparing for this show.. Before we started preparing for this show, I kind of felt things are going unfair. Because of Covid-19.. I mean, more than anything, I wanted to perform on stage with the members and share the happiness with you guys..”
We all of course wish we could spend time with our idols but things aren’t going so bad as in celebration of Jimin’s birthday the Indonesian ARMY made a project called “Trees for Jimin” to help a sinking Village. They have a target of planting 1,000 trees and have successfully planted 8,735 mangrove trees so far. That’s not the only project going on since in Korea they will be organizing a bench garden in the Seoul Forest and they also had Jimin’s first own theme festival called “Welcome to Jimin Paradise”.
There were so many other projects in order to celebrate Jimin’s birthday but it was good to just have projects in order to help the environment like how ARMY planted trees on Namjoon’s birthday in order to celebrate. This day was truly a day filled with joy and we’re all just glad that everyone is safe and hope next year will be even better.
