Finding Hobbies

While we are all quarantining inside, life seems to be getting a little boring. Maybe you just finished binging all of your shows and movies, and now you are wondering what you can do with your spare time.

Finding a new hobby is a great way to pass time and also create or experience something creative and fun. It is hard, however; to pick what hobbies to try. So, without any more introduction, here is a list of my three favorite hobbies you can try.

Embroidery:

I might be a little biased, since this is my favorite hobby, but if anything it makes me more reliable when I say that this is a fun skill to learn and use on everyday items. Embroidery sounds hard, but it’s actually quite easy after a video lesson, or two. With this skill you can make cute designs on bags, clothes, and blankets. By learning how to embroidery you can customize anything you want with your favorite design or picture.

Baking:

Now, I personally am a terrible baker, but I have friends who bake all the time, meaning I get a lot of sweets and bake goods. Baking is a term used for cooking with an oven, so picking up baking doesn’t necessarily mean you can only make sweets. You can make multiple different types of bread, and different types of cake. I can also guarantee that anyone else in your household will also enjoy you taking up baking, as long as they get to try the food.

Painting:

Painting is a very versatile skill because painting isn’t just confined to a canvas. You can paint shoes, bags, rocks, furniture, walls, and so much more. If you have something you want to paint, it will be your canvas. It’s fun, maybe messy, but in the end you are creating something unique to you, making this a perfect way to pass the time.
