In life, there are two types of Christmas people: those who decorate for Christmas before Thanksgiving and those who wait until after Thanksgiving to put up decorations. As for me, I decorate my room for Christmas well before Thanksgiving; in fact, my room was decorated for Christmas on November 1st. Some people might say I decorated my room way too early, but the truth is, they’re just late. Yes, there is still Thanksgiving that will arrive before Christmas, but Thanksgiving doesn’t give off the same energy. At the end of the day, what sounds more appealing: 1/12 or 1/6 of your year being dedicated to giving and being jolly? Now you might be wondering, “what about the people who celebrate Christmas, but don’t decorate at all?”. Those people are equivalent to the Grinch or Scrooge, and we just have to wait for them to have their realization of how wonderful Christmas truly is.
