Hurricane Iota made landfall and has been wrecking Central America. Winds of 155 mph were recorded in Nicaragua. The hurricane is predicted to hit Honduras and El Salvador in the next couple days. The heavy rain brought by Iota was recorded at 30 inches. The people worry of landslides, mudslides, and flash floods. About 90% of an island named Providencia has been destroyed by the hurricane and caused one person to die. This was the second hurricane in 2 weeks with Iota being the worse one. They have started repairing and predict the island to be back in a little over 3 months.
