The NBA season is coming back even though it ended October 13th. NBA players didn’t even get to rest a full two months before having their season brought back. The 2020-2021 season is set to return on Monday, December 22, 2020. Teams are set to play a 72-game schedule, and the league wishes to be able to have fans allowed in the stands sometime during the season. The set dates for the teams were officially made; NBA Draft is November 18th, Free Agency is November 20th, and Training Camp is scheduled to start December 1st. Other important dates that were set are the All-Star Game March 5th-10th, Play-in tournament May 18th-21st, and Playoffs May 22nd-July 22nd. With the NBA returning so soon, this is one of the shortest off-seasons in any sports history because it only lasted a month. Many players were upset with this ruling, but they will still play throughout the season. This is another sport in America that will try to return even with a global pandemic going around in the world.
