Christmas Quarantine

This year hasn’t been the most enduring at all for anyone, however, we are still holding on, hoping that this year will end great. 2020 has been pretty terrible for everyone with all the fires, killer wasps, protesting, election, and corona, but thankfully the year is almost over so we can finally look forward to spending Christmas with our family. Even though many of us can’t spend it with all of our family or friends we could at least try our best to enjoy the holiday by making goodies with our siblings and parents, or even watch Christmas movies with hot chocolate all snuggled up.

Sadly, since the virus is still around with high cases in America, we can’t have big family gatherings or hang out with all of our friends but we could still do fun things with the people we live with. We could still go out with caution to buy presents for our loved ones so we could still open presents at midnight to celebrate together. Families can also bake together to make Santa some cookies and even make some for themselves or even build gingerbread houses together. There’s also this trend going around where you can make a chocolate ball with marshmallows inside and some powdered cocoa so when you put it in your warm milk it’ll dissolve to make hot chocolate. It’s also great to be watching movies with the hot chocolate and being able to stay up all night just watching Christmas movies.

So even though we can’t do what we’re used to doing every year, at least we can still manage to make the holidays fun with the little activities people can do together. Besides, hopefully next year we can finally get back into the full Christmas spirit and go all out when things go back to normal.
