On January 20, 2021 I found out I got into CSU Channel Islands and I’ve never been so excited. When I found out, my heart started beating so fast I had to look at it a couple of times to make sure I was reading it right. I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to my parents and told them I got in. They were so proud and excited for me especially since I’m the first one of my siblings to go to a 4 year college. I’ve never felt so accomplished in my life. CSU Channel Islands was one of my top picks and I’m in disbelief at the fact that I got in, but it makes me feel proud of myself. I hope to get into my number one college, fingers crossed. If I do get accepted into that one I will be absolutely speechless, but ecstatic.
