General Motors, the mother company of Chevrolet and GMC, has announced that they are going exclusively electric by 2035. This news is huge for not just other car companies, but everyone in the world. Because General Motors has cars on every continent, I’m sure this decision didn’t come easily. I believe the main push for them to propose such a goal was that their biggest country for sales of their vehicles, China, is pushing their citizens to go electric. General Motors wasn’t going to miss out on the market that they dominate. Now we are waiting for companies like Ford and the Volkswagen Group to follow suit.
