Over the past two weeks, the El Diamante High School Mock Trial team has competed in four rounds of competition against Tulare Union, Granite Hills, Tulare Western, and Mission Oak. In the end, they emerged victorious in all four rounds. Overall, the team experienced great success and is moving on to the semi-finals. In the semi-final El Diamante’s prosecution will go against Redwood’s defense team on February 2nd at 5:30 pm. At this point, it seems as if it is a tradition for these two teams to square off against one another during semi-finals as has been the case for the last three years of competition. The other teams competing in the semi-finals are University Preparatory High School and Granite Hills High School. The two teams that win their semi-final round will move on to the finals on February 11th. Overall, the El Diamante team is well prepared and ready for competition. Wish them luck!
