UPS Driver Shot, Shooter Still Not Found

On the 27th of January, a UPS driver was on a route when he was shot on Highway 99 near Tulare. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. and the victim was able to exit the highway after calling 911. He was taken into an ambulance to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment and his wounds have been confirmed as not life-threatening. Investigators found 5 shots in the truck’s trailer and that a second commercial driver’s truck had also been shot. The second driver witnessed the shooting and saw a vehicle passing at high speeds. Detectives are still working on finding the shooter and the motive.
