High schools in San Francisco are determining if the names of high schools with presidential names for “racial justice.” The blue ribbon panel of community leaders have put a hot seat on 44 schools that might have to change their name. The board of education passed the resolution that all 44 schools must have a plan to change their name by the 19th of April. This caused a lot of controversy as people agree that there are more important matters to fix in the school system. Those statements have made no changes in the ongoing plans to to change the names so this leaves many people in the community angry.
