The killer doll, Chucky, from the 1988 horror film “Child’s Play” was featured on an Amber Alert in Texas three times last week to Amber Alert subscribers. The Texas Department of Public Safety apologized saying it was a test malfunction. The amber alert stated that Chucky was a suspect for kidnapping his son from the movie “Seed of Chucky”. A photo of Chucky and the son, Glen, was provided along with a description. I’ll be honest, if I saw this when I was little, I would have been terrified. However, this would be a super cool way to get publicity for the original film, or an upcoming new movie. Especially if it was done for Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights.
