Oreo Truffles

In my household, we love Oreos. We love dunking them in milk or just simply eating them plain. My sister enjoys making Oreo truffles for family gatherings because they’re extremely easy to make, and the family loves them!

Ingredients:

  • Oreos- don’t use double stuffed, just use the standard Oreo
  • Cream cheese
  • Chocolate melts- your preferred chocolate choice

Directions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper
  2. Place 36 oreos, filling and all, in a food processor and pulse into fine crumbs(or crush them into fine crumbs yourself)
  3. Add cream cheese to the food processor, pulse in bursts until the mixture is combined. You can always use a stand mixer as an alternative or you can mix by hand, just make sure the mix is blended well.
  4. Scoop mixture out about 1 tbsp at a time and form into the mix into balls
  5. Place the truffles into the freezer for 15 mins
  6. Melt the chocolate melts of your choice
  7. Remove the truffles from the freezer and dip them in the melted chocolate
  8. Return the truffle to the baking sheet
  9. Once you have covered all of the oreo balls, place them in the freezer for around 5 mins, after this they are ready to serve.

Tip:

Since the truffles are made with cream cheese, they should always be stored in the refrigerator.
