The Promised Neverland is an anime that was released two years ago but was available on Netflix recently. I would say that this is by far one of my favorite shows that I have ever seen. There is only one season out right now, which is a psychological thriller as the plot develops throughout the episodes. The setting takes place in an isolated idyllic orphanage, where the main characters have been living in. However, they were very smart and cautious, as they eventually discovered the secret and sinister purpose that they were raised for. They try to look for a way to escape with the other children by coming up with a risky escape plan without the evil caretaker knowing. This show kept me on the edge since the beginning of episode one. I cannot wait until the second season comes out because of the way the first one ended. I am so curious what will happen next.
I would totally recommend this anime for others to watch!
