Earlier this week, a blue whale bitten in half showed up in the Atlantic Ocean. The 25 – foot whale was found with several injuries and bite marks. Experts and observers are trying to figure out the best possible explanation of what injured the whale.
These types of incidents started happening years ago, but gained popularity worldwide due to recent news. This mystery left people all over the world shocked. A lot of people on social media have come to the conclusion that the megalodon might not be extinct and could be what the whale had encountered in the ocean.
However, according to the Bangor Daily News, James Sulikowski announced on February 5th that a great white shark, around 14 feet long, might be the culprit of the half bitten whale.
