On Wednesday February 10th the El Diamante High School cross country team got to run in their very first race at Hidden Valley Park in Hanford against Hanford High School. The race started off where runners had to wear their mask at the start and after 50 meters of running they could remove them. The course was really hard to run on but overall our team ran really well against Handford placing 1st. Their next 3 races should occur at El Diamante High School on Wednesday. They have been working very hard since September and hopefully they can take 1st in their league. Check in the sport section of the Visalia Times Delta Newspaper for your top runners.
