There is a ringing coming from Sarah’s phone and she starts to stur, awake. Sarah wakes up and checks her phone to see why it was ringing, She sees she had 3 missed calls and a voicemail from Joshua an hour ago. She notices how long ago it was and looks outside seeing it’s dark out already knowing Josh should be here by now. She tries to call him back but no answer, she check the voicemail of Joshua breathing heavy saying “ Sarah i’m so sorry, leave fast please I lo-”
Then It’s got quiet, Sarah stayed quiet and stared ahead at the dark that surrounded her. She didn’t know what to do without Josh but she knows she has to leave fast right at this moment. She gets up with her bags and runs out to her car, she puts her bags in and gets into the car and starts it. Pulling out into the streets she notices how there is nobody around but the bodies on the ground, she slows the car down to see who’s who on the ground.
As she stares really hard at a person on the ground with blue jeans and a white shirt with a flannel over it, but the face is facing downwards so she can’t see who it is. She feels sadness and starts to feel alone, as Sarah is still staring at it she sees the body move like it was just sleeping well moving to a more comfortable spot. She shakes her head in disbelief and stares more harder at the person on the ground. She laughs it off like she’s gone crazy and looks ahead starting to drive again.
