Today marks the first day that I will be playing a real scrimmage/soccer game since the beginning of last years quarantine in March. I am extremely excited to get myself back on the pitch for a great match tonight with my team. Today’s game will be on the Sidewinder Field out in Lemoore, and I am already getting the pre game butterflies that I would always used to get before Covid. During this quarantine, our team has strictly only had small practices every Tuesday and Thursday which has been a good time, but it isn’t the same without having the match experience. I’m so elated to go out there today and I am so prepared for today’s match. I hope in the near future I can get back to playing soccer again not only for club, but for school as well.
