Bobby Shmurda, whose real name is Ackquille Pollard, was finally released from Clinton Correctional Facility in New York after six years. Shmurda was originally an up and coming rapper and hip hop artist, and had a huge song in 2014 which is known as “Hot Boy” and in the music video he did a move which is known as the Shmoney dance which sparked his fame and reputation. He was arrested later in 2014 after his viral song on many charges including murder, attempted murder, assult, and drug dealing and plead guilty. He was released ten months ahead of schedule but he will still be under supervision for the next five years. When news of Shmurda getting out of jail started circulating people were excited and a fellow rapper, Quavo who is part of a group called the Migos, stated, “I’m personally gonna go pick up Bobby Shmurda. I’m bout to go get him. I’m gonna let him show you how I’m gonna pick him up, yessir”. Staying true to his word Quavo picked up Bobby in a private jet and flew him back home. Shmurda’s mother has explained that she wants a nice intimate dinner with her son and then let him back to his passion which is music.
