Over this past month I have been looking for a new job before I leave for the navy in August. Even though I already have a job I wanted another one to make some extra money. I wanted extra money so I wouldn’t have to ask my parents for money any more as I am becoming an adult. The one job I did try to apply at happened to be In & Out. I applied there because that job pays very good money and it would be a nice job to keep me busy until I leave. My interview and everything went well. It at least felt like that to me but they must’ve felt otherwise as I didn’t get the job. I woke up yesterday morning and saw an email from the manager at In & Out saying that they have denied my application. That was the first time I have faced rejection from a job. It made me a little upset at the time but I have realized that’s how life will always be. Getting rejected from this job will help me in the long run to be prepared for other situations just like this.
