Devonte Hynes, mostly known as Blood Orange, a English singer and songwriter who mostly known for his song Charcoal Baby from his album Negro Swan
His music is a mix of a lot of genres such as Funk, R&B, Indie Rock, etc. I absolutely adore his sound and the messages behind his music. His music mostly speaks on black and queer struggles and empowerment.
My favorite songs by him are Hope, Champagne Toast, and It Is What It Is. I had first discovered him being at a concert he was attending, I was completely blown away by his music and he is now one of my favorite artists. I highly without a doubt recommend his music.
